Was at Penang few days ago and visited the Penang Botanic Garden in hoping to purchase some daisies. So bought 3 pots of daisies at RM8 each. One of the sellers was offering RM20 for 2 pots but their daisies aren’t as pretty so I went for the first one. They are Gerbera Daisies.

Also bought a pot of Venus Flytrap for RM20! I wouldn’t have thought that Venus Flytrap would be that expensive. But it does look interesting and it only feed on insects.

Gosh, I thought I ran fast but I had so many long breaks in between resulting me slower by 5 minutes from my last record. Tsk tsk tsk… Not good.

But I did learn a new theory today - “Run faster so that you don’t have to run so long”.

I realised that multitasking does not longer exist as you grow older. Because you’ve got only 24 hours and you will need to get a minimum of 7 hours sleep per day, not including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and bath, and daily chores. There’s so much one can do at a time. Being too ambitious would just kill you eventually.

So, never take up tasks which you think you’re unable to handle. Well, that’s actually me telling myself.

I like the fact that I’ve found myself a pretty ‘permanent’ part-time weekends job. And oh, they fed me really well too. Breakfast, lunch and hi-tea buffets? Hehe… *Grin*

Yesterday, I went back to Toni & Guy Academy to trim my hair because I didn’t like how some of the blonde ends turn out from the last session. The hair stylist that trim my hair was from Sri Lanka. I thought he looks a bit like Rob Schneider with the curly hair, in this picture. He did a really good job, especially on the layering.

Last weekend, Kev and I decided that we would cook borscht soup for dinner. The end result was pretty good. But Kev said we could have marinated the chicken first before cooking to get the added taste to it, but it was rather plain.
