Two days ago, Kev and I decided to go Italiannies for dinner at 1-Utama. It was pretty spontaneous. My initial plan was to eat at Subway but since we had that few days ago, so pasta would be a better choice. Italiannies was having promotions for pasta. It was the same one the Nuffnangers had during the sharing session a day before I went.
4 choices for only RM29.90? Sound pretty good to me. In fact, I would say this is the best you can get. I have never seen any restaurants serve different dishes with such a reasonable price and obviously you can’t expect the portion to be big, right? Pretty good for 2 sharing. Well, 2 sharing for 2 little people with small stomach. Hehe…
Personally, I enjoyed their pasta, except for the Lasagna. The top later was pretty hard to me liking. Overcooked? One thing I like about Italiannies is that they always come with complimentary bread for starter, which give you a good reason for you to order less and yet get some extras. Who doesn’t like an extra? 
Anyway, I was down town yesterday afternoon to do some shopping. My classmate told me that there’s this shop at Petaling Street that sells really good interfacing which she bought for me some time back. It took me quite awhile to allocate the shop because I have never bought any sewing material/cloth from that area. There were quite a number of textile shops around that area but nothing compared Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
I bought the interfacing in bulk knowing that it would be inconvenient to travel down town that often. I bought 5 meters of interfacing at RM7.50 per meter. Reasonable? I’m not sure. Didn’t really look around. I was there only by recommendation. Could have gotten more, but hmmm… Let’s not be so greedy ya. 
But then, I ended up buying other stuff which drained out my wallet. 
So on my way back, I bought my favourite bread with dry meat and chicken floss. Used to had them when I was little and especially during Chinese New Year. So, that was what I had for dinner. More like my breakfast, lunch and dinner all in one combo. LOL! I didn’t had breakfast or lunch yesterday because I woke up at 1pm in the afternoon. Crazy right?
The night before, I went to bed really late because I was watching Heroes Season 3, Episode 8. Man, the whole story is getting more and more “evil“. That’s how I would put it. Innocent people are killed and power are taken away from them. Hiro went back time one year (but he did not travel back time) behind to see what had happened in the past in order to stop the future. It’s complicated but I’m still looking forward to the next episode. Each time it’s getting better and better. More suspend and more evil? Haha… 
As for last night… I watched Mama Mia on a lousy pirated DVD. It was so bad that I had to eject the disc several time to replay. Just so frustrating. Could have been better if I would have download it off the Torrent instead. The movie was good and it got me feeling ABBA all over again. If you get what I mean. I used to grew up with ABBA. Well, more like my parents were into ABBA and Carpenter back then. That’s how I got to know about them. What amazes me was how they managed to use their songs and turned it into a movie. I like how the whole story flows. It’s just so lovely. Wished life were always like in the movie.
Connection was really bad last night. Took me ages to access the server, what more to upload files. It was really frustrating till I gave up and went to bed at 2am+. At the same time, I was snacking some Wasabi flavoured Oster Mushroom Crisps. This one may be cheaper but it wasn’t as good as the Veggie Snack.
I’m feeling a little sleepy already. Woke up at 6.15am this morning. Couldn’t really sleep. Was having backache because I was sleeping on the couch downstairs. The dog were parking at odd hours for god knows what reason and the phone rang several times in the morning. I thought it could be my brother’s friend but none of them answered the phone. The call for was the agent. They called to confirmed that the appointment for the maid to clean the house. I thought mum would have told them or so.
Anyway, mum is coming back tomorrow. Can’t wait to see her. I miss her already. Too bad she didn’t bring the digital camera along, else I would have had some pictures to see.
I think I will take a short nap now…
